Nancy Reyner has been teaching art for over 30 years - and still loves it!  She has taught nationally to students of all levels, shapes, and sizes.  From Columbia University to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum to Santa Fe Art Institute, Nancy teaches a broad range of art processes:  drawing, painting, mixed media, creativity, puppetry/performance, and more.

"My goal is to give each student the next best step - whatever that requires - on the way to finding the medium, style, and approach that best enables students to 'speak' through their work.  For me, art is not a mysterious process, and I enjoy breaking down advanced concepts and techniques to easy bite-size pieces.  My workshops are unintimidating, energized, informative, personal, and charged with up-to-date art news, art ideas, and new processes."

Workshops are designed in a specific order, alternating demonstrations with hands-on projects, to accomplish the following goals:  maintain a beneficial rhythm and pace, have fun, experience a wide variety of painting methodologies, explore how ideas can be generated through a playful collaboration with materials, and allow maximum flow of the individual creative experience (a more complex way of saying "having fun").  Although Nancy customizes workshops for each venue, here are some of her popular workshop themes.
